You can work with newborns. Yes there are all of those, but I think everyone will agree that they are not in any way near as offensive as an adult's. I work in NICU.... and while in school I did all of the "dirty work" in my 3 full years in clinical, but I was firm in my decision that I would never do it when I graduated. So, now, when I hear questions like yours..... I turn into a NICU (neonatal ICU) recruiter!!!!
i would LOVE to work with babies! will i be able to work with babies during my clinicals? (bsn) do you also help mothers who are in labor and go into surgery?
also what kind of a nurse are you? did you specialize in mother / baby area? or are you a midwife? or a registered nurse?
Differences?????? OMG. They are worlds apart, none of which I care to be a part of, I'm just not good at it. A better post might be "What ISN'T different about all of these areas" I'm sorry I cant offer you any advice, the differences are just too great to sum up in a post, for me anyway. Good Luck.:)
i dont think i can handle those areas as well even though i never went into one before
If you have a problem with bodily fluids, why are you going into nursing???
i dont know? i think im just not used to touching those right now? i dont know
