FGCU Nursing Spring 2017

Thank you! I am praying its good enough... So I am dying from the anticipation and I ended up calling FGCU to ask about the status. All they could tell me is that they are still reviewing the applications so it will still be a couple weeks. So it looks like they are going to be taking the full time to send out the letters. UGH!

Just talked to the nursing academic advisor and she said letters will be mailed out later this week

I'm really nervous too... hopefully we'll get something by the end of this week or early next week. I can't take the anticipation anymore, its stressful. and I don't want to have to wait until next Fall 2017 to be able to start nursing school :/

Aw that stinks! Im sorry. I haven't got my letter yet, but if you didn't get in I highly doubt I did. Don;t be discouraged! Just keep trying! I know it is more expensive, but you could also try NOVA!

its okay :/ I've looked into Nova but they require Chemistry as one of their pre reqs and I haven't taken Chem at all since its not required at FGCU. I have a 3.38 and 84 on my TEAS with 87th percentile rank. Looking at previous posts, other people had gotten in with either lower scores or lower GPAS, or even the same as me. So I'm a little frustrated and not sure what I could even do to improve my chances. Although waiting another year before I get back into school is a little rough.

Damn, if u didn't get in then I doubt I did either. My stats are slightly lower than yours. Did you take pre-reqs at a state college or univ? I wonder if that matters at all. I'm in the same boat of not knowing what to do next. I didn't take Chem and I'm getting over it with retaking pre reqs to not be good enough for these schools. Best of luck!

I've taken all my pre reqs at the University, FGCU. What are you stats Ocambo?

And even if you take pre reqs, FGCU nursing still takes alllll the grades from retakes, etc and calculates them into their cum GPA.
