Did anyone else hear that FGCU requires your chemistry course has to be less than five years old?

I went to undergrad there and spoke to some of the CRNA faculty and they did not say anything about that when they reviewed my transcript. I was told getting an interview only requires the minimum requirements listed. The person I spoke to said of all the applicants only about half meet the minimum requirements and get interviews. We will see.

No, they didn't. It was more of a rumor I heard from someone who had never attended FGCU. I didn't think it was accurate information given the website doesn't mention it.

@hopefulsrna do you know how many people usually apply each year?

They say about 50-70. Usually about 30 get interviews and 20 get invites. Usually about 16 accept and at my graduation from undergrad there were 13 that graduated. I was told they really want their former students so if you went there it may give you an advantage but that is not a given.
