I was on the waiting list for 2 years before I finally got accepted to the UC-RWC AD nursing program. In that time I took all my my co-requsite class, A&P 1,2,3, microbiology, chem, all the usual classes. Through any of the classes so far i havent had any trouble getting A's, lowest if had so far was a A-, but now that we are about to start week 2 of the nursing program and take test 1 monday i feel so under prepared for this program. Iv done all the required reading, reviews the ppt's, brushed up on math, but darn if i dont feel like im worried about even passing this test.
I assume im going through the normal range of emotions that all nursing students have when they begin the program, I just dont know how to reel myself in, relax a little and enjoy this learning experience. Is it normal to see the gen ed stuff as really easy then get smacked in the face during the first days of nursing classes?

Yes, this is normal. In pre req classes you studied in order to be able to answer test questions. In nursing school you study in order to be able to think your way to the correct answer. Its a big diference.
We will see tomorrow how this goes. Im in no way slacking in my studying just cant shake the feeling that its not enough.
