Feeling Torn!

Hello everyone!

Wanted some opinions comparing schools.

Here is my situation:

I have been accepted to all of my choices for RPN but did not receive my acceptance for preferred school until this week. Conestoga was my 2nd choice and was accepted 1st round however Mohawk was really my 1st choice. Since I wasn't offered a seat until this past week I figured it wasn't going to happen so I went ahead and started completing my police check etc. I've also paid my $500 deposit to hold my seat and found an apartment in Kitchener.

Is there a huge difference between Conestoga and Mohawk for employment opportunities, course content and placements?

I am just ready to start my career and want to make the right decision and this is a one shot deal. To those who have taken both programs your input is appreciated.

Thank you!

Conestoga has a higher pass rate on the national exam, only by about 0.2% though so not much. It is on the CNO website. Employers don't really care where you graduate from because ultimately you have to write and pass the CPNRE, so that is what they want to see.

Thanks xokw,

I'm just going to trust my decision and stick with Conestoga. I was doubting myself but things happen for a reason. Besides I really liked the set up at Doon and I think I'll do well there. Appreciate your thoughts!

Cheers

It's a good school and I think you'll be happy. Message me if you have any questions about the program :)
