Feeling really bummed and lost

Published

I have completed 2 years of nursing school with all A's and B's. However, I am unable to pass the exit HESI and unable to graduate and sit for the NLCEX. I have taken the HESI 6 times and have scored between 805-830 until this last time. I score an embarrassing 695. I am not sure what happened or where to go from here. I need to have at least an 850 to graduate. This totally stinks! I am now left with too much school debt and no degree. What does one do from here?

You didn't really mention much. How are you studying for your exit HESI?

I recommend also looking at Comprehensive RN Guide for HESI as it is made by Elsevier. It's dense and packed with information.

I am in the same situation, 6 times and don't know whether I'll ever pass. Do you go to a school in PA because this Hesi is banned everywhere else from what I hear.

I do not go to a school in PA. I am in Florida. Unfortunately, the HESI is not banned here.

What do you mean the HESIs banned?

Has anyone used the HESI Comprehensive guide for NCLEX RN by Elsevier in preparation for the HESI exit exam? I ordered it and was hoping it will help! Any advice is welcomed :)

It's good for giving you a overview of the disease processes and the interventions, but I don't think it's that great for the exit hesi.

The Hurst review may be helpful for you.
