I rarely ever post, but I need some encouragement from my fellow student nurses. Finals are two weeks away and I have so much work and studying to do that I don't know where to begin. I'm sitting at a table with all my books piled up.....I feel like crying.
Help....

We've all been there...we survived, and you will too! You made it to finals, so whatever you've been doing so far is working. If you have some friends in the same boat, it might help to team up. One of the best things about my study group was that we kept each other going. We made a plan and broke everything down into small sections, so we could reward ourselves often :). If you like to study alone, make sure you take time to give yourself credit for all the small steps along the way. One thing at a time, and exams will be over before you know it (with all A's, of course)! Good luck!

I am feeling exactly the same way!! I have like a million things due this week then I have finals next week. To top it off I have a 50th bday party for someone important and a work holiday party this week, and oh yeah a potluck Saturday at the new neighbors!! I *never* get out and do fun things between the family/work/school but these things I really want to do yet I need to squeeze in alllllllll my schoolwork too... Ughhhhhh I need to just scream!!! That's what I did today actually, scream.. Try it.. Let out a big scream.. Then look at all you need to do/study and break and down and organize/prioritize so that it isn't so overwhelming. That's what I did. After that scream I was able to think a little more clear and took on one thing at a time and that's what I'm going to continue to do!! I think after sitting and working on this paper I need to scream again LOL.. One day, one moment at a time!! You can do it, you will do it :)
Best of luck!!!!!!!!!
