Hi everyone. Just looking for some words of encouragement or advice. I'm currently in a year long LPN program with plans to bridge over to my RN. Lately I have been feeling stressed and exhausted, more so than normal. I've been falling asleep in class, as soon as I get home, having trouble waking up. I miss being at home with my son, I miss my husband. I have never been so tempted to just give up. Is it going to be like this when I'm actually a nurse?

Be on top of all ur school materials, it'll help you get motivated and energized to work hard. Workout and do ur readings on treadmill when in the gym . Set a routine and stick to it, this is your chance to practice time management !

Surprisingly I've been keeping up with my material, I have yet to get below a B+. I just can't seem to shake this feeling of blah, I don't want to do this anymore. You're right, time management would be good right now.. I'm too tired to even organize my time.

Make sure to take care of yourself. Nursing programs can sort of burn us out. Take your vitamins and get a good nights rest. As for will it be like this as a nurse?! For me I get a good nights rest and try to take care of myself. It'll get better though. Keep up the good work!
