Feeling left out amidst efforts

Published

Hi guys. I need psychological help. I am a junior student nurse and I have this feeling of being left out when I try to answer and to participate in class discussion. Like, I get the feeling that they are angry at me of knowing stuff about the topics discussed. Did you also experience this? How can I get over this?

When I was in nursing school I didn't make friends at all with my classmates, unfortunately nursing can be kind of clicky, and that's not the type of person I am. I went to a couple study sessions with some classmates freshman year and it was just a bunch of **** talking of other students that they didn't like thought were dumb or weird... Wasn't my kind of atmosphere I thought high school was over :bookworm: Despite lone-wolfing it through my program I excelled and work with a great group of nurses now. Luckily I made friends in other programs so college wasn't so lonely. I didn't contribute much to class cause to be honest I couldn't stand public speaking and didn't like the character of several of my classmates. Hang in there there's life after school
