Feeling bummed. I missed the mandatory meeting for lpn school.

I am so upset with myself right now. I am suppose to start an LPN program in January and there are several steps that we have to take. (1) take the tabe tests (2) take the teas and get a 60% or higher (3) attend a mandatory meeting (4) return are package on due date

I have called the person for the practical nursing but she will be away oct 3-14. I had to leave a voice mail. I got the date mixed up I thought it was today instead of yesterday.

I am sure they would have another between now and when you start? Isn't there someone else that you can talk to? Tell them you left a message with one person and you really want to talk to a live person as well.

Yeah.. now I am thinking I was making a big deal about nothing. But the woman for the practical nursing went on vacation, and I went to the school they told me to wait until she comes back. I'm really hoping I get to start in Jan; otherwise, i will sign up for the part time program, which starts in May.

Ours was yesterday and they gave the spots of those who didn't show up to the alternates right then. Good luck but I would prepare to give up your spot.

update: She came back from vacation and guess what she was feeling happy. :) She said she would allow me to start the program in Jan. I am currently working on the packet. It is due on the 30th of this month.

I'm so happy for you! I'm about to finish my LVN program in a few weeks. I remember how excited I was to be able to get in!! Yeah for you!??
