Feedback on NP salary in Nebraska

Published

I'm looking for feedback on nurse practitioner salaries in Nebraska or a close state. I'm looking at my current employer who advertises starting salary of 61k...yet all the information I find online says 100k average.

Just looking for feedback on what's realistic and what people are actually Making. Thanks.

What does an ICU RN make? That sounds like a low ball estimate but it may not be for Nebraska b/c the salaries are lower there. $100K maybe if you have lots experience. The only $100K ball park are for a nurse anesthesist--ball park. The publications are $20000 off--at least. $61, sounds low though.

I'd say find out what an ICU nurse with 10-15 years experience makes and add $20 K to that unless you are new fresh out of school and then it would be lower. If you've gone straight through school the way NPs are doing now--the game is different.
