Faulkner State or Jefferson Davis?

Published

Hi - Can anyone please offer any feedback for Faulkner State or Jefferson Davis RN Program? Trying to gather as much info on the schools as possible. Points system, class info, staff at school, pros/cons, etc...

Thank you in advance for your thoughts. I am looking into the Spring 2016 program at each school.

All of this information can be found online. I, myself prefer Faulkner because they have a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX. Your pros and cons will vary depending on where youre located since they are nowhere near each other. Overall they are great schools from what I hear. How many points do you have to rank at Faulkner? I was told that Fall is more competitive so if your points arent that high then Spring would be great. Good luck.

I currently have 182 points and plan to retake the TEAS to see if it will improve any. I feel like that current number would be ok for the Spring. I did speak with someone at the school and they stated Fall was more competitive.

Where are you applying for or are you currently enrolled in a college now?

I will have to drive about an hour for each school, so that is not really an issue.

Southernsun I'm facing the exact same dilemma .. I've applied at fscc for sitting 2016 .. Someone I talked to encouraged me to still apply at other schools as well .. Jefferson Davis and Pensacola would be the closest schools ..

I don't think you would HV a problem getting in with a 182 .. They accepted 180 and above for the fall .. So you should def get in ..
