Fau Traditional Nursing Program

I just finished my HESI entrance exam at FAU. Has anyone out there recently been accepted into the program and if so what was your GPA and HESI entrance scores? I have a 3.5 GPA and I received a 93.1% average on HESI. Are my scores high enough to compete???

Hi everyone,

I wish I knew what Hesi score or GPA we need to be accepted! The minimum is too low because this program is very competitive. My Hesi score is 90 and my GPA is 3.9. Can anyone tell me when we will know if we were accepted to FAU for the summer of 2010? I applied to the traditional BSN program. I keep checking my emails. It might be too early but I can't wait anymore. Has anyone been accepted yet? I saw that last year the accelerated program student knew in February. Has anyone spoken to Maureen Brooks? I dont want to email her because I am sure she must be busy.

did you also apply to the accelerated? just wondering because i put traditional as my second choice but i havent heard anything yet.

No, I did not apply to the accelerated, I don't have a bachelors degree. Hope you hear soon.

I didn't get in either, time to try for pbcc I guess and then re-apply for FAU later. Good luck to you though.

PBCC is a lot easier to get into, plus they provide a point system so you know EXACTLY where you stand compared to other people, if they share their points.

I was accepted to both PBCC and FAU, but since I'm already in PBCC's program I'm just sticking with it. I left my FAU app just for fun since their program is so much more competitive.

I also got accepted into the summer 2010 traditional track FAU program. I'm in the PBCC program right now, and not sure what to do. :confused: I keep getting different answers from different people. Some say FAU students are not as prepared for skills?
