I also interviewed for boca campus. Very sweet lady that made me feel comfortable . Talked about the program, asked me why fau why np and where I see myself in 5 years. It would have been probably only 20 minutes but we were chatting so I was there for 30-45. She said we won't hear anything until the second week of April. I filled out this form they emailed me and had to deliver it to fau. Started my background check and all that. Only thing left to do is immunizations. Wonder when that has to be done by...

Hello everybody,
I am also a hopeful candidate this year. I applied for the BSN-DNP Program. I interviewed March 15 but did not receive any email or link to start the background check or immunizations. I am thinking that those who did are on their way for acceptance. Anybody else in the same boat with me? I was also told that they are still interviewing until the end of March or at least this past Monday and Tuesday since the link for interviews ends at March 22. To those who are doing background checks, how soon did you receive those emails? I honestly did not feel well about the interview. I felt unprepared and sent my application on the last minute deadline (Feb. 28) but still got an interview. They also put me for Harbor Branch since I live in Jupiter. I thought getting an interview is a good sign but now I am doubtful. I was asked generic questions like why do you want to be an NP, why FAU, where do you see yourself in 5-10 years, what are you most proud of as a professional, what do you do keep your practice updated or current, etc. Any input will be appreciated, guys. Thank you very much.
I had my interview on Tuesday. (FNP-Boca Campus) They ask the same 4 questions to everyone (this is what I was told in the interview) and using a point scale based on GPA, experience and belonging to any national organizations. She also said they will start to send out info about acceptance the second week of April. Best of Luck to everyone.
