FAU Accelerated BSN Fall 2022

Published

Hello, I am not sure if there is another post for students apply for the upcoming Fall 2022 for A-BSN. The application process is a bit confusing for me and wanted a space for all of the upcoming applicants to ask questions and stay connected as it can be stressful if you are doing it alone.

Two things you should be aware of if you are thinking of applying:

1. There are two upcoming information sessions for the following dates.

Wednesday, October 06, 2021  2:00PM -3:30PM

Wednesday, November 17, 2021  2:00PM -3:30PM

2. The Fall 2022 Application Cycle starts November 1, 2021 - March 14, 2022

no, it's for the ABSN program. I thought so too which was why I signed up as soon as I got the invitation but I still haven't got a confirmation.

Did they tell you guys when you would hear back like an approximate? In the past years they said 2-3 weeks

I thought they said after we finished this round of interviews we will hear back from them

I think the result should be out by the end of this week - Cross your fingers.

You think so…? Haha nervous. Crossing fingers. Good luck to everyone

I hope we hear from FAU soon.

yes, hoping by the end of this week....

Do you know what GPA FAU is considering? are they looking at overall GPA?

That’s my guess. They didn’t require a TEAS exam and we only send transcripts after an acceptance. However through nursing cas they have our transcripts and overall GPA. So I think they primarily base it off of that and the interview.

They told me they only consider undergrad GPA from the university we have graduated from. if that is the case, if you are a transfer student, they will ignore classes you took before you transfer. I finished my undergrad in California and I was a transfer student from a junior college to a 4-year university. Based on what they told me, they are going to ignore my ~60 units that I took initially before I transfer to a 4-year university? this will impact my overall GPA. of 3.6 vs 3.4

How many transcripts did you have?

You got this!! I hope we hear good news.  I had multiple transcripts since I also completed my masters but I guess only the undergrad will count.

Had my interview and now I’m terrified to hear back. It felt like it went well but you never know! I’m guessing since we didn’t get any decisions yet it likely won’t be happening until next week at least. Fingers crossed and good luck everyone :)))

Good luck to you as well !!
