FAMU Nursing Spring 2012

So I know it's somewhat far out, but anyone planning to apply to FAMU's nursing school in Spring 2012? I'm currently AD USAF, but I will be separating VERY soon (yay! and sad at the same time :crying2:) to pursue school full time. I'm still a few classes short of my A.A., but hoping to have it by summer next year. Anybody else in the same boat? Or am I floating by myself?

Hey guys this is my first post. I also applied to famu SON for fall 2012 and went to the interview on Monday July 9th. I am SOOOOO nervous I cant believe we have to wait a WHOLE month to find out if we got accepted!

I didn't know if we had to go now or wait until we found out the acceptance status?

I asked one of my friends who is a current student at the famu SON and she said that its not mandatory that we go to famu orientation that its only mandatory to go to the nursing school one which is on august 23rd. But she recommends that you go to both, and that's what im doing.

@yourfuturenurse:) yay! Hope your interview went well! I know I'm stressing- the day we find out if we get in is the same day I move into my apartment!! So hope I get in cause it's the only reason I'm moving there!

for those who got into the program just be prepared to pay 500 -600 dollars the first week of school... start saving!!!!!!!!

Does anyone that got into the program know if we're supposed to go to advising to set up our class schedule or anything?

I dont think so, I think we're going to do all that at orientation on the 22nd.

Is anyone going to the transfer orientation on the 20th? I know that our orientation isn't til that Wednesday, but I'm thinking of going because I'm from out of town and I'm not to familiar with the school. I feel like at that orientation I will learn more about general things like financial aid and stuff like that...

@nathalie45 I didn't know they were having a transfer orientation! I would love to go cause I'm from out of town too!
