Hello, I have not seen a thread for Fall 2018 Montefiore SON so I decided to start one. I applied for Fall 2018 and was invited to take the Kaplan test, anyone else? I am nervous about taking the test and trying to prepare for it as much as I could, any thoughts? I hope everyone made their applications in time and they extended it a week as well!

Hello , so many of my classmates had tattoos and they wore a white long sleeve shirt under the scrub top or kept the monti lab coat/jacket on . Hope this helps

Hello so a lot of my classmates had tattoos on their arms so they wore a long sleeve white shirt insert their scrub top or wore the monti lab coat /jacket that's on the uniform list . Hope that helps

Hey Guys, I ordered my uniform about 6 weeks ago and still haven't received it..I'm a little nervous about the sizing, I followed the size chart and ordered one size down.. Did anyone get their uniforms as yet ?

Hey, my uniform was delivered within 2-3 weeks after I placed my order. At first my order didn't go through (the email on the paper is wrong) and I had to call them. They gave me another email, told me to submit my order there which I did and I received a confirmation email after a few hours. I am 5ft4in and I got the smallest size they had which was XS. It's still big on me, but will do I guess.

In your case, I would advise for you to call them and make sure your order was placed.

I'm applying for Spring 2019. Could anyone please tell me what they used to pass the KAT? Which books, study materials, etc? I really don't know where to start.

Hi everyone, can someone tell me if the A&P, Psychology, and English (First semester) are taken in the school, or if you have to take them at another school, being that I don't have the prerequisites.

You take the prereqs at our sister school Westchester community college. The nursing school only has nursing classes. They suggest we take as many as possible before starting Nursing 1 since your only allowed one failure in any class prereq or nursing class.

Look at my previous comment for tips on the exam. The school chooses who they invite for the exam based on GPA 2.7 minimum and if you took chemistry since that is required before entering the program.

Thank you soo much! Lastly, I took Chemistry in highscool well over 15yrs ago. How much weight did your Chemistry grade have on you being selected to sit for the entrance exam?
