Fall 2018 Montefiore School of Nursing

Hello, I have not seen a thread for Fall 2018 Montefiore SON so I decided to start one. I applied for Fall 2018 and was invited to take the Kaplan test, anyone else? I am nervous about taking the test and trying to prepare for it as much as I could, any thoughts? I hope everyone made their applications in time and they extended it a week as well!

I also applied for the Fall semester, and scored a 75 on the KAT and I have all my prereqs done including Chemistry. I was just wondering if anyone has heard back from admissions yet! I keep checking my email everyday anxiously!

We're on the same boat... anxiously waiting, checking this thread, mail and email whenever I get a chance lol

But nothing yet, hopefully next week

yes, im still anxiously waiting as well. i work for a monte facility so hopefully that will give me some leverage. praying that we do get accepted.. and it is the second week of may now. maybe they will start sending out the acceptance emails tomorrow!! good luck everyone

Hey ! I took my Kaplan on May 30 and since then have been checking my email about 1000x a day. Anyone have an idea on how long it takes to hear? I've been reading a lot of posts but this is the first thread I've come across from 2018. Good luck everyone !

They are supposed to start sending out emails the second week of May... which is now, so we are in the same boat lol

I can't even sleep checking my email every 2 seconds... this is torture í ½í¸­ why can't they just tell us í ½í¸©í ½í¸©

I just spoke to someone on the phone about everything. Acceptance letters should be going out by next week. And the things they are looking for are

Grades ( how well you did in your pre-reqs )

GPA

The Kaplan admissions exam ( which is looked at the most)

They also take into consideration if you currently work at a Montefiore facility.

Also if you're take any current pre- reqs and your grades do not come out before the acceptance and rejection letters. It does not affect whether or not you get accepted into the program. But they would like you to send the unSo I hope that helps everyone! Good luck

Are we suppose to be looking out for an email or just a physical acceptance/rejection letter?

From what I've read on othera threads from previous semesters, we're looking out for an acceptance email.

An email, which states we got accepted and then that's followed by a letter.

I think that since applications were a extended a week late maybe so are the acceptance letters?
