Fall 2011 Mercer Nursing Acceptance???

:nurse:CONGRATS to anyone that will be starting in the fall nursing class of Mercer 2011!!

I have already applied and am trying to wait patiently for my acceptance letter. The mailman can't come quick enough each day! I am wondering if those of you that have already received your acceptance packet could tell me if lists an orientation date? I'm trying to plan my summer class schedule but don't want to have a conflict with orientation. Hopefully I will get to meet everyone soon!!

I received my acceptance letter back in February (applied in Janurary). It says that orientation dates won't be posted until May and that you can register for them as early as June 1. Good luck, hope you receive your letter soon!!

I applied to Mercer a couple of weeks ago... Now im just waiting on my letter. Cant stop checking the mail.

They said that I need to submit my Spring grades once they post so I guess I will get mine after that...

Yeah!! Finally!! I received my acceptance letter from Mercer yesterday! Can't wait to meet my fellow classmates! Let me know what you guys here!!

Congratulations on your acceptance!

Would you mind sharing your teas score and gpa? Also, did you have all of your pre-req's done? I plan on applying within the next week or so and I'm very anxious. It would be helpful to get an idea of what my chances are. Thanks!

I had a 4.0 GPA and 88% on my TEAS. I'm taking abn. psych, stats, and speech now and should finish end of May. I plan on taking econ during the July minimester at Gwinnett Tech. Good luck to you! Where are you taking classes now?

Thanks so much for you reply. Your scores are impressive! I've completed everything except for microbiology. I need to retake the Teas to get a more competitive score though. I was super nervous the first time around; so much so that I did worse in English on the actual test than I did on the practice exam (and by a lot). I was really surprised when I got the results because English my my strong area. Nonetheless, this is my dream and I want it more than anything and I don't plan on giving up.

I'm still waiting as well. I'm thinking if I've had to wait so long then most likely I didn't get in. Which is very torturous!:uhoh3:
