Hello everyone
I am wondering if there is anyone applied to Kingwood LSC LVN program that starts this Fall
I have a 90 overall on Hesi and I got As in both A&P 1 and 2 so my ranking score is 7.6
I hope everyone applied make a comment so we keep a track of the application and admission process.

I applied to the LSC Kingwood LVN program as well. I have an 83 overall and an A in both A&P courses; my score is a 7.29. Unfortunately, I was not able to apply to the ADN program due to only scoring a 72 on the A&P section of the Hesi.
Thats a great score congrats
I was told by a friend that they should send acceptance letters out around June 5th. So we are getting closer

Your score is so much better! Congrats to you as well; I'm sure you'll have no problem getting in

I applied as well, score 7.40. Hopefully, that's good enough! I didn't score too high on my Hesi for the RN program🙄 so I retook it and scored high but the application deadline was up, and I'm tired of waiting so LVN it is...

The same thing happen to me. At the info session, the director said we will be attending the Montgomery campus Monday-Friday from 8-4 because the Kingwood campus is still under construction from the hurricane. We'll go back to our campus in the spring.
Hello there
congrats on that score
I think doing it the LVN way is easier but longer, but anyways we will become RNs one day.
I highly recommend to take RNSG 1301pha and biol 1322 nutrition over the summer, so you will have less work during the program. thats what I m doing
Hello Melanie "my hero" how have you been ?
any other interesting info were mentioned in the session?
I have heard they randomly drug test those who attend the session is that true ?

No they drug test you at the orientation. I know this because I was an alternate for the Montgomery LVN program last year. She said we should be notified by June 5 and they only accept 24 students and choose 24 alternates in case one of the accepted students gives up and/or loses their spot.
That's even better for me, That's closer!
Ugh, I thought I could enjoy my last peace of mind before August! Is pharmacology hard? And nutrition?
Idk if it is hard or not
It would be just less assignments and homework for the first two semesters
Question for both of you
Would you guys be working at all during the program ?
