Hi everyone!

Making this thread for Fall 2025 Accelerated Nursing in Canada (I'm from Ontario!) so we can share where everyone has applied, if they have heard back, application process question, acceptances etc.

Currently I have applied to:

  • UofT
  • Humber
  • MacMaster
  • Western
  • Queens
  • Trent
Specializes in Public Health.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to come on here and say I got my acceptance to Mcmaster!! I got the email just this morning.

Goodluck to everyone else who is still waiting !

Feel free to ask any questions.

Hey congrats! Can I ask when you submitted your application and what your stats were like? Also have you completed all the prerequisites already?

Specializes in Accelerated Nursing.

Big congratulations! I just decided to accept York U today after they offered me since Jan 28 as I love their curriculum and how you just know what to expect with the structured semester, and more predictable courses and clinicals and also mom life compatible as opposed to u of t which is basically high stress environment and signing up for more stress as a mom of four young kids!
Any one accepted York U yet? Let's e- meet!

Hi!! Congrats, that's amazing! McMaster looks at overall 2 years of recent studies right? What was your cumulative GPA and Casper score!! Congrats again!!💗

Got my McMaster offer this morning! Super conflicted between Mac and western now (stats so you don't need to ask, last 2 years 3.86 and 4Q casper)

Which program do you think is more feasible to get a high GPA in? I'm looking to do NP school after this

Hello, thanks for this thread!

I have applied to UofT, York, McMaster, and Western. Have been accepted to York and McMaster. My top choice is UofT so fingers crossed but if not, I am conflicted between York and McMaster since for York, I would be able to commute and save money and have placements in the GTA. If anyone has any advice, that would be really appreciated!

Hi thank you! My cumulative GPA for my last two years was 3.93 and my Casper was fourth quartile 🙂

Hi! How did you choose between Mac and Western? I got into both! IDK to keep it going at Mac (since I'm a current Mac student) or try something new with Western. Thanks!

Is it too late to be accepted to UofT and Queens Accelerated Nursing? So far only McMaster and York.

I think UofT sends out acceptances until mid/late June so yes!! I haven't looked at Queens' program much so I'm not sure about them!
