Hi everyone!
Making this thread for Fall 2025 Accelerated Nursing in Canada (I'm from Ontario!) so we can share where everyone has applied, if they have heard back, application process question, acceptances etc.
Currently I have applied to:
Hi everyone,
I applied to 10 schools, kind of went overboard. I graduated from my BA 6 years ago with ~83% in last 5.0 credits and ~80% in last 10.0 credits. I'm worried that my averages aren't very good.
I applied to: Queens, UofT, York, Western, Trent, Lakehead, UBC, UNB, Lethbridge, and UAlberta.
So far, I've been accepted to Lakehead, which is my last choice because it's a 3-year program.
My first choice is Western because the learn and stay grant would allow me to work in the region where I currently live after graduating.
Best of luck everyone!!
Hi all - I was debating whether to apply to Western in addition to UBC and UofA and ultimately decided to apply today. I'm having a hard time finding out how/when they want transcripts sent? Does anyone know the deadline for transcripts?
Also - I thought that the regular CTF program required Casper but I actually don't see anything about Casper on the admission info website... do I need to send them my Casper score? And if so, what's the deadline for that?
Thanks in advance! Feeling a bit rushed with the deadline coming up soon but I think it's best to have a few irons in the fire.

Hey for Western the last day to apply in Feb 14 and you should apply through OUAC so that they can receive your transcripts. For the 19 accelerated nursing program you don't need to write a caper test. I got email telling me that I don't have to hope this helps!
Hi guys! I applied to York, McMaster, Western and Trent for accelerated nursing but I'm honestly a bit scared. I'm in my second year of university right now and my GPA is so far good but my first year GPA was honestly really bad... I think this year my GPA overall will be an A but last year I did not get this GPA, it was a lot worse. I don't want to apply next year either cuz honestly I just can't afford to do that:( If I show an upward trend in my grades, do you think I'll have a chance to be accepted in one of these universities at least?

Hey honestly your last 30 credits are what really matters plus your prerequisites. There are people who have gotten into York im not sure about the rest with low GPA. Just aim for the A and you will be fine. Is York your first choice? My first year OK honestly I didn't do well either but I made sure that I did well in my last 30 + prerequisites
