Hello possible future nursing peers!

My name is Dani. I saw a forum a couple years back of MSMC applicants who were able to connect on this website and share some of the anxiety while they waited for their applications to be reviewed.

On the chance that I get in, I'd love to establish friendships before the arduous journey of getting through the accelerated program.

So if anyone wants to wait with me, just leave a post. :)

Thanks for starting this thread Dani! My name is Carolina. I too applied to the AccBSN at MSM for Fall 2013. I assume we'll start to hear back soon about interviews. In the meantime I thought it might be nice to get to know each other a little. I live in West Hollywood with my partner Sarah. We moved to LA about 3 years ago from Philadelphia where we both were in graduate school. I have worked in the film and television industry for the past 12 years or so and have enjoyed every minute, but we have decided to start a family and realized that my insane work schedule is not really conducive to having a family. So, I decided to pursue nursing, something I've always had an interest in. How about you guys? Are you from the LA area? Why nursing?

Hi!!! Just wanted to let you know that there is another thread that I started back in February in regards to the MSMC ABSN Fall '13 cohort back in February and some other people have started posting on that thread...

Just trying to keep all the posts about the Fall 2013 cohort streamlined so none of us miss out on any information. If you would like to start posting on that thread, it is titled "MSMC ABSN Fall 2013".

I think that we all are anxiously awaiting to hear back about interviews!!!! :)

I also applied for the fall 2013 term! Has anyone heard anything back yet? I'm getting pretty anxious since it's already been almost 3 months from the deadline. Hope we all hear good news soon!

Just got an update e-mail...we should be hearing about interviews this week!!! YAY! Finally we have some news and our admission outcomes are just around the corner!!!
