Fairfield University Accelerated Nursing 2020

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for Fairfield's Accelerated Nursing program for those applying for the 2020 cohort.

I'm finishing up 2 pre-req's and sending my application soon. I'm a bit nervous because my undergrad GPA is low, but my pre-req GPA is high & I hope they see I've changed as a student. Good luck everyone!

Hey! I did my interview back in April (I think). Once I got all the application items in around mid-October, I heard about a week later. So, it was a quick turnaround for me, but I also interviewed very early.

My guess is the turnaround might have slowed as the deadline got closer and passed (especially if they got a flood of applicants).

I interviewed in November just before Thxgiving. Haven’t heard yet, but will keep you posted. It was probably a silly time to interview with the holidays and all following my submission. I’m sure your response time will be much faster!

The fall semester itself, never less the holidays, always seems to be crazy busy!! I cant wait for us all to find out!

Hey everyone! I applied to the program back in late November pending a few courses that I was asked to take. My applications complete and I am just waiting to hear back. Does anyone know what the typical turnaround time normally is? Here's what I had grade wise!

Undergrad GPA: 3.02

A&P 1: A-

A&P 2: A-

Lifespan: A

Micro: B-

Stats: A

Chem: B

I also interviewed/submitted in mid-Nov and am waiting to hear. Seems like everyone else who submitted summer or early fall took around 2 months to get a response. Since the deadline was mid December they're probably swamped with applications, so might take longer for us? Good luck!

@special-k They told me, they would get back to me in about a week, but one of my transcript was delayed, so am hoping to here from them this week.
