Fairfield University Accelerated Nursing 2020

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for Fairfield's Accelerated Nursing program for those applying for the 2020 cohort.

I'm finishing up 2 pre-req's and sending my application soon. I'm a bit nervous because my undergrad GPA is low, but my pre-req GPA is high & I hope they see I've changed as a student. Good luck everyone!

Hi! I just applied as well. I am finishing up my Microbiology prerequisite right now. It's all exciting, but also so nerve-wracking.

I had a decent undergraduate GPA and I've kept it about the same throughout my prerequisites, so hoping that I am okay!

I just got my acceptance contingent on completing Microbiology with a B or higher. I am so excited! I live in New Haven, and this program is the furthest and most expensive for me out of the other two that I am applying to.

Hi everyone, I got accepted into the program as well. I was trying to find a Fairfield University Accelerated Nursing facebook page but I couldn't find one. I also will be looking for a roommate!

I believe I submitted it maybe mid-September? I'm sure you'll hear soon!! I actually went in and met with the program director and got a tour of the campus. She told me they accepted about 58ish students so far!

That's awesome! Professor Pomarico? She's so great. Did you get to meet Dakota? ? She's so sweet! Keeping my fingers crossed for some good news soon. Would be AWESOME to know before Jan but seems like it'll still be a few more weeks.
