Hi
I failed the NCLEX RN 3X already. The florida BON stated that I need to do remedial course to take another nclex RN for the fourth time does it apply to everyone? and i dont get it? after 3 failures of the same level of examination? what do they mean by same level?
. After three failures of the same level of examination (RN or LPN), regardless of jurisdiction, the applicant must successfully complete a Florida Board of Nursing approved remedial course.

They say it right there in their rules in parenthesis what they mean by levels, there are two: RN or LPN. Your level is RN.

As above said.
PN level or RN level
you failed 3 times RN. So the state requires you to take the remediation course. It's the same in michigan. In MI, after failing 3 attempts, applicant has to do an approved refresh course(s). In one year, they allow only 3 attemps. For 6 attempts and fail, you are done. You will have to go back and fo the whole nursing school again if you still want to be a nurse.
Don't get discourage. Find out what course you need to take. Find your strength and weakness in your study habit. Utilize the resources that are available to you. Be confidence and determine! You will be successful.
