I have taken NCLEX 3 times and I have not passed. I am so frustrated and upset. I took a Kaplan course after the first time I failed and then re-did the online portion after the second time but it still did not help. I don't think that it works because I couldn't break down the questions like I was taught to. I also have test anxiety and I over analyze the questions a little too much! I am looking for something new to try a new way to study. I know that I want to be a nurse but right now I just feel like there is no way and that it was not meant to be If anyone has any advice or ideas please let me know!! Thanks so much!!

Hi Learae, OMG I know exactly how you are feeling. I failed twice! I also did Kaplan and feel it didn't help me tackle the NCLEX questions. And like you, my anxiety during a test is so high. It prevents me from actually understanding what they are asking. I took my exam 2 weeks ago and still no results, so that to me is a failed noticed.
I know I'm the last person to help, but I am hearing Suzanne's plan is the way to go. You can do a search on her first tip for retesters and go from there. But before you do, go and take a much needed break like me and find enjoyment before we go and run another long marathon of studying.
Good luck to all of us!!!
Thanks smilee!! I think I am going to try Suzanne's plan. Good Luck with your results!! I hope everything works out!

Hey, hang in there you'll make it. I am still recovering from a failed first attempt and I am thinking about giving Suzanne's Plan a try, i've heard a lot of good things about it. No matter what, stay positive and know that YOU WILL become an RN. Just remember that things happen for a reason and your time will definitely come. Goodluck, my fingers are crossed for you.
