Failed NCLEX RN twice. It's been 2 years and have to take a refresher course.

Hello everyone I need help. So I graduated an RN in Arizona state 2015. I failed NCLEX-RN twice. In Az after 2 years being out of RN you have to take a refresher course.

Would it be possible to retake NCLEX-RN in another state? Need advice from anyone.

Hello ladies,

I am looking for review classes in Virginia, could anyone knows about these classes?

I am using uworld since it's gotten so many positive reviews. I even joined their uworld Facebook page. A lot of helpful ideas in their group. I'm also using Remar Review "quick facts for nclex". It has all the most common topics nclex tests you on and the questions in the back are very similar to what I had on nclex. I got it for $12 on amazon.

I started on uworld too but wasn't able to finish. I bought it 2 wks before I tested and thought I could finish in that time na didn't. I liked it as well it looks like the nclex and I epwas studying from the rationales. I wish it wasn't expensive. These nclex review materials are money making businesses since they know we will buy them. I'm a sucker for one í ½í¸³

I also have the remar quick facts. Sadly, that didn't hit my nclex questions. Good on content though. This time, I will stick to what I have like the Saunders, lacharity, and hurst. I have a lot of books and for some reason it doesn't engage me no matter how hard I try to read. I might have to hit it old school and start with my index cards again. I dont know but I hope I figure it out soon, time is a waste. Good luck

Hey hun. Have you tried contacting your nursing school and asking them how to go about taking the test in another state? They want to see their students succeed and are usually willing to help. I still email my program director with questions. Good luck and breathe :)

@connorsmommy I haven't tried to contact my school. Honestly, I feel ashamed because when I failed the nclex they called me a few times and even sent me an email to contact them. I didn't because I was upset at myself and felt stupid that I didn't pass. It was hard work put into nursing school and I guess I could not accept it. But now, I should contact gem maybe they can help. I didn't even think about that since it has been 2 years and I feel they probably don't care at this point.

I will contact them and thank you for reminding me that I should use my school as my resource. I just need to start in the right direction. I don't know how it goes, if I should retest in a compact state since Az is one or can I test anywhere and won't have issue transferring back to Az.

I wish I have the money for refresher course but I don't and every penny counts. I'm going to pass this time but will prepare all the way.

Hi LhetzP! Currently in the same situation right now, also an nursing graduate in AZ and it's been 2 years now too. I was wondering if there is a way I can message you about this matter? We can get through this!!!

hello guys! just want to ask. i took NY NCLEX twice already last 2015. im planning to take my 3rd exam and hopefully my last.

is it the same process where you pay the $200 then wait for the ATT? thanks.

Hawaii has unlimited takes. But I would recommend taking either Hurst or Remar review for refresher. I sat for Hawaii State BON, and passed on my 4th try with 75q. This time I used Hurst Review, Tutors (Justine Buick from Koa Pine with 4 sessions & Jannah Amiel from TootRN with 1 session), LaCharity, Lippincott NCLEX RN Q&A, RN Mastery.

I'm in the SAME situation....

Is there an update on this? Did you pass? Did you go to New York and transfer to AZ? Or am I understanding that I can pay NY but test in AZ, so I would have a NY license then transfer it to AZ?

caring4u.net ....... use this tutor you will pass more than likely.
