Aww... We are exactly in same boat . I felt same way when failed 3rd time. My Kaplan score was same too when I took it 2nd time. Now I don't feel bad anymore. I gained my confidence again. Now i am ready to give ncelx 4 time. This time I am not exerting myself with studies. I read a chapter from Saunders then do questions. My advice for you to forget past. Just remember that you have to become RN with any cost and you can do it. It's just a test if we failed before that doesn't mean we are looser . Concentrate on your weakness . Mine is SATA. So m doing lots of questions. I have some free material to study let me know if you want it . Stay positive. Good luck. We gonna be pass this time :-))
Smara thanks for sharing your story with me and I will really appreciate any information you give me
Schizoh, my studying plan was the following: I watch video contents from Kaplan, review the book, and then I start solving the questions, in each wrong answer I go back to material (Kaplan+ Saunders book+ some time the internet) and read every things about the subject. I continue doing this for approximately 4 months, I was waking up 6 a.m. and study until 6 p.m. I attend Kaplan course tow times and I got 170 Q on the 3rd time
hi there, dont despair... I have to take the NCLEX for the second time myself... its no biggie, you are doing your best and you are on the right track... maybe you just need some other alternative resources for studying such as audio or video or something like that.. Im taking mine in three weeks...
good luck to both of us : )
yumurcak--- (i think you are asking me?) Yep! I enjoyed the lectures, the worksheets she asks you fill out realllyy helped. I then rewrote all of it on blank sheets of paper real small- because thats what I did in nursing school (haha idk why that helps me, but it does) and then I took the re-took the test!
also, i did go throught the kaplan program in nursing school. It just never really clicked with me (apparently...since I failed the first time, heh)

Hi every one,,
I failed the NCLEX-RN for the 3rd time and it was last month after I prepare for it for almost 4 months, I used Kaplan course, Saunders Comprehensive Review book and I got 58% in Kaplan questions, I received my report from the bored of nursing and I'm near passing level in all areas. Soon I will take remedial course and start to study for NCLEX again, I feel so desperate and I don't know from where to start and what was wrong with my previous plan. I got my degree out of the U.S, so I'm asking people who had same situation as mine, who pass the NCLEX-RN, and nurses who preparing for it to advice me from your experience, any things will be highly appreciated and don't hesitate to give me any feed back
Thank you all and wish you the best.
