I am researching different aspects of LPN/LVN nursing careers and there seem to be a myriad of choices including some I wasn't aware such as case management in home health, dialysis tech, anesthesia technician, scrub nurse, etc. This has began to raise more questions than it has answered.
Some of the questions I have are as follows:
What type of LPN/LPN nursing careers are the most challenging?
Which jobs provide the most patient interaction?
Which jobs provide the most training with equipment/procedures?
Which jobs provide the broadest amount of experience in the shortest amount of time?
Which positions are most likely to prepare you to transition to an RN position?
I know some of the answers will vary according to the company your employed by but I'm looking more for a general over view from personal experience. I'd also welcome comments regarding some of the lesser known job positions I mentioned early. Thanks in advance for your input.
