how to explain a period of unemployment

Hello this is my first time to post please HELP. I quit my job in June after lack of support from a new manager and overall I was burned out. Now it's 6 months later and after much needed r & r I am job searching but how do I explain my period of unemployment and reason for leaving.

I just went for an interview after being out of work for 2 months. Of course, they asked why i hadn't found other employment. i told them after working for the last 20 years with minimal time off, I decided to take a couple months off to relax, like a long vacaion. The nurse interviewing me said she wished she could do that too.
