Curious if anyone has been through this. My license expired and then cancelled years ago. It is officially labeled as cancelled on the license verification check. I was a stay at home mom for the last 8 years but now I'm looking to re-new it which I don't believe is an option. It is asking for the $220 application fee. Do you know if I just have to sit for the NCLEX again?
Thank you for any feedback you have!

You probably already read this on CA BRN site, but:
"If the license has been lapsed longer than eight years, the RN must submit the delinquent renewal fee, 30 hours of continuing education, and proof of competency to practice by either verification of a current active license in another state or U.S. territory, or by retaking the licensing exam."
Sound like you need to retake the NCLEX.
