Hi. I am 27 years old have been a nurse for 4 years this May. I have worked 6 months of med-surg the remaining years have been in the Neuro ICU. Given my critical care backgroung would the navy be a wise decision? What is the outlook like for crit care RNs? Also what is the team work like? I am a huge team player and that is one of the biggest problems that I have with where I work now is the lack of team work.
I am also considering the navy because it appears that it would be alot more rewarding than the nursing that I am doing now. Are there any nurses that were civilan nurses prior to being navy nurses that find it more rewarding?
