Not in my neck of the woods...
Sorry to hear. I guess the Atlanta area's got it goin' on for GN's, then. However, it still doesn't hurt to call the recruiters and find out. I found out about the ones here by calling. It is not announced or advertised anywhere.
Good luck and CONGRATS to all who have passed boards this summer! :balloons: :balloons:
hey wer u from?are u in the phil if ur stil home chinese gen is in need of newly grad nurses try submitting ur credentials. I heard phil heart center and other special hospitals are also open for new graduates. God Bless
Hi, I found out 2 days ago that I passed my boards!! Yes!!!I have been searching for a job, and the problem I am now facing is that everywhere I have checked is only hiring RN's with at least a years experience! I knew that the hospitals around where I live require 1 year experience in order to work in Maternity or Psych, but I am now finding out that, that is required for other floors also, even Med-Surg. Has anyone else run across this to be true where your from? I can't get experience if nobody will give me a chance, Right?
I applied online for a job that said experience required and i hadn't even taken the boards yet. i got a call a week or so later and had an interview a week later. they told me to call when i passed my boards and i will be speaking to the night supervisor tonight hopefully to talk about a possible position.
i say, apply anyway. the worst they can do is not call. and you never know, they just might.
good luck!
