I recently got into nursing school and I will be starting clinicals in the Spring. I noticed a few classmates that took EKG & phlebotomy course or worked as a pharmacy tech during the Summer. I volunteer at NYP but I'm still worried that I don't have enough experience. I was wondering if there were any courses or certifications for undergraduates that could possibly help with my future clinicals? I've heard experience as a CNA is helpful. Would it be too late to do this in the Summer after my Spring clinicals? There's just so many things I'm hearing from different people I'm not sure what to do.

If you don't have experience now, don't sweat it. It costs money anyway. I would recommend enjoying your free time while you can because nursing school is quite tedious. Besides, after the first semester of nursing, you should be able to take the CNA exam.
@Neo Soldier I try not to worry but find my thoughts wandering turns clinicals again. I'm excited but still worried ?. But of course I'll try not to stress too much about it. Thank you!
