Exercise 30 #8 in marieb lab manual... need help!

Published

im having trouble finishing this. it's page 455, exercise 30. "anatomy of the heart"

the question is "complete the following scheme of circulation of a red blood cell in the human body"

is there is only one blank, does that mean only 1 word goes there?

i have the first blank i think, right ventricle? can someone help me please?:o

For the first blank, yes.. it is the right ventricle. Upon the second blank, you will notice that the next word after the blank is "valve" so you need to find out which valve it is. You are looking for one word. Try page 446-447 for the answer. Good luck.

ETA: I own the Fetal Pig 9th edition version.

Don't know if you still need it...but here it is. I just finished mine!

8. Right atrium through the tricuspid valve to the right ventricle , through the pulmonary

semilunar valveto the pulmonary trunk, to the pulmonary arteries , to the capillary

beds of the lungs, to the pulmonary veins , to the left atrium of the heart, through

the mitral bicuspid valve to the left ventricle ,through the aortic semilunar

valve to the aorta body , to the systemic arteries, to the capillary beds of the

tissues, to the systemic veins, to the superior , inferior , and

venae cavae entering the right atrium of the heart.

Hope that helps!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!! I needed it too. The textbook is so confusing...

At least having the answers, I can go through and make sense :yeah:

the last part is wrong...1. if you are going in order, it would be inferior then superior. it's just superior vena cava and inferior vena cava. venae cavae is not one of the answers...it doesn't even make sense.

i have this same question and am having issues with the last three blanks. i can see the inferior/superior vena cava, but what is the last one?
