Jun 11, 201115 yr is it true that EC excempts u from one essentials test just because u r LPN? if they do which one? was anybody excempted from any tests?
Jun 11, 201115 yr Moderator Some LPNs have been exempt from the second exam, "Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Differences," but they have recently changed the rule for that; it depends on how long you've been an LPN. You need to check with EC to find out for sure. Have you had your transcripts evaluated for credit? You should, if you haven't.
Jun 11, 201115 yr Author im working on sending my transcripts. what credit do they give for the lpn if any
Jun 12, 201115 yr I believe the new rule is that if you have been an LPN for 5 years or greater as of 1/1/11 then you are no longer exempt from the Health Differences exam.
