]Has anyone taken this course? I am thinking that I am in way over my head with the Eng Comp Exam. The 6 credits sounds amazing however, I believe I would do better taking the actual course. I haven't taken any courses yet, only exams. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hey! Some of the others can correct me if i'm wrong, but I think excelsior now accepts a 3 credit english called Uexcel offered thru them now. I didn't take it, but there have been several posters on here saying that to them it was much easier...not 100% sure, but worth checking into. Personally, I took one look at e.c.'s english exam, and went fleeing to the local c.c. for that class. None of the others scared me, but that one did LOL.
Good luck :)

Hi, I took the 3 credit English Comp course offered through UExcel. The advisor I spoke with actually recommended it. I read over the information for two weeks and took the test. I scored a B, not too bad. You can find the info you need on UExcel on the Excelsior website.
Good Luck.
Thanks so much I will look into UEXCEL. Was the test essay's?
Yes, unfortunately, it was an essay test. It was much better than a 6 credit English Comp tho! If you are able to write even a half decent essay you should be fine. I am actually very intimidated by essays, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got a B.
