The RN-BSN program is nothing like the LPN-RN program. The BSN portion consists of 8 and 15 week courses. You are allowed to test out of the general education portion of the RN-BSN program, except for the expository writing class, but that's it...unless they've changed things since I graduated in 2014. The program is very doable, especially if you're good at writing papers. I took 3 or 4 courses together during one semester.
The he only thing I didn't like was the group projects. Things would have gone so much smoother had everyone in the group been equally motivated. There is always that one slacker that holds everybody up.

Greetings,
This question is mostly directed to Graduates of the Excelsior Rn to BSN program. I wanted to know about the class structure. I notice when trying to look up a general education class that there were test out for some of the BSN classes. I wanted to know is the whole program similar to the LPN-RN program, where you have 3 different options to complete each class. I wanted and need to know this information so that it helps me make a clear decision on where I should go to complete my BSN.. Thank you in advance for answering.
