Site says this about FL...So even if you are an LPN you still have to be reviewed by the BON, wait now I'm confused again. Bottom line so you are saying you have to be reviewed by the BON no matter what
Florida Direct Licensure: Graduates who were LPN’s at the time of admission and had integrated theory and clinical in their LPN program are eligible for licensure by examination.
Endorsement: Graduates who were not LPNs at the time of admission may endorse in after completing two years of active practice as a registered nurse in another state or in a federal facility in Florida.

I am in Florida and graduating excelsior next month. Basically, from what they tell me... they are reviewing applications on a case by case basis... and so far they have all been accepted. So they told me I could take a chance and go that route... or pay about $70 more to get a North Carolina license first and then get my license in Florida by endorsement. The good thing about North Carolina is that they let you apply once you have finished all your requirements and you get Excelsior to send your transcript... whereas florida makes you wait for your actual graduation date. Once I get my sit pass for my boards, I can take them in florida or anywhere else in the country and results are sent to NC. After I get my NC license, I am to apply to Florida by endorsement and all of those applications are being accepted without any problems or delay. And I don't have to work in another state or have my NC license for a certain amount of time or anything. I can apply right away. So that was what I decided to do. I will keep you guys posted to let you know how long that takes and how it goes.

Thanks for accepting my friend invite, which is so funny because I was hoping to send you a PM or email with some questions. But it looks like this site doesn't allow that. Congrats on graduating. I'm in LPN school and there are a lot of us looking into the program because we are older and have families and have to work etc.

You're very welcome. Yea you are my first "friend" on this site lol and I've never sent any PM or anything. So I don't really know how it works. Let me know if there is another way for us chat... or if you want to post any other questions here I would be happy to answer.

Ok...I have looked at the sticky and did the search, so maybe someone can answer this, what states are accepting Excelsior's LPN-RN program? Don't need counseling advice about online schools and such, just what states accept this program. If there is already a thread then sorry. Thank you and have a nice day.:)
