Ok guys...let's do something. Perhaps all plan to go to the next GBON meeting, or maybe bombard them with snail mail! Their decision was unfair and we need to help each other and stand as one in order for them to hear us. They are ultimately saying our program isn't good enough, and I can tell you as a CPNE survivor, it is good enough! Please pm me or post any ideas! Any people from the Atlanta area can meet at my house so we can plan our course.

It is so unfortunate that I am just now discovering this thread.
In reference to gboogie post.
!st of all..if you call that a leap of faith, let me tell you you leaped right into a bottomless pit. 2nd...you believed everything they told you about all those people graduating and passing the board because that's what you wanted to hear. They told you what you wanted to hear.
Now for some facts:
I actually attended the program for a year. I was actually in the first "graduating class".
I actually sat for the board exam. I actually passed.
But Lo, and Behold, I was actually contacted by the GA board for an interrogation because I had not attended school in Jamaica(were the transcript was bought from, neither did I do all the clinicals that was lied about on the transcript. Neither did I make all the A's and B's that were on my transcript....and the list goes on of questions they asked me.
To make it worse...only about 7 of the class actually passed the board, but then some of them even got followed to their jobs and questioned about their education. Yes, the investigators actually went to their jobs.
Not only that..the worst thing is noone else has been allowed to sit for the board AT ALL. They all ( LPN and RN) are receiving letters that here is one of the schools that caused the bon's decision they cannot be approved for the board exam. There are people that I know who are actively filing lawsuits against "HER" because she won't give them their money back....
How's that for a leap of faith...you'd better have a very short bungee cord before you get in this one too deep.
No lies....whoever posted that must work for the school.:icon_roll Poor thing

excuse me i'm not sure what u mean by this post! But EC is nothing like Advance Medical. I spoke with the lady you call "HER" at advance medical. You would Graduate through a school in browntown Jamacia, give me a break. Instead I chose EC. And Georgia has been granting endorsment of their students for 25 years, and 1 day just stopped. Not giving 1 thought to the hugh amount of currenty enrolled students here in GA.
hold on i think you missed the note i sent with this... i said this is why they passed that stupid law ... it is due to these type of schools popping up. i took this from another thread. I am a student at excelsior... calm down.... :)
LoL my bad. I was about 2 go to bat for EC

I didn't see an explanation of your posting, either ... maybe you should edit your post and include that note! :)
Please go to this link and join me if you are a graduate of EC, like myself, or a student and want to try to fight this decision by the GBON.

This group will be dedicated entirely to exploring the proper channels to make our voices heard regarding this decision not to endorse future graduates of EC. I konw we can make a difference in this. Let's try!
