I am enrolled in EC and will be taking Reproductive on April 29, 2010. Are there any advice on testing for this exam. I have taken H&S. That was over a year ago, but now I feel the need to pursue my nursing dream.

welcome back to the testing whirlwind! just go slow, read each question and answer and you'll do great. i used the study guide and study group 101 notes along with the text books. i love the practice exams--they are worth every penny. i also used saunder's nclex review. it has great rationals. good luck and happy studying!!

Best advice I can give is to do the EC practice exams first and remember the questions as they are very similar to the actual exam questions. Good luck.

Best of wishes! I will be taking this exam soon myself....been trying to study and working full-time nights and finding the time to schedule the exam around my schedule...
Thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate it; however, I am so nervous. When I took my first exam and the practice exam they were different to me. I guess what i'm expecting on repro is sooo much information. Continue to pray for me. I have read you alls thread and they give me hope. Thursday is the day! Oh Glory!
You can do it....:)
I thank God, I passed Reproductive today.
Awesome!!!:) Best wishes for your next exam.
Thank you, I am going on to chronicity. Do you know this test is and what type of info is on it? Where are you in your studies.

Hello,
Just took Chronicity today and passed!! My first Excelsior exam. Now I am ready to take the Maternal/Repro Exam in a few weeks.
The Chronicity was 160 questions and has a variety of info. End of Life, Culture/Diversity, pain, comfort, etc. Mine had a lot of questions about the eyes and ears.
What is the Maternal/Repro like?? How any questions??
Thanks!
Mine had a lot on stages in labor & delivery. Newborn congenital defects. It had 130 questions. Know female repro & male repro system.
