Excelsior Grad and Traveling Question

I recently completed the bridge program from Paramedic to RN through Excelsior and passed the NCLEX in January. I have a friend in Arizona who can get me a job as a new grad in the ER at the University Medical Center in Tucson. I'm licensed in Wisconsin which is a compact state as is Arizona. The AZ SBON website says Excelsior graduates must have 960 hours of experience in another state or the 120 hour clinical nursing course through the college. I have neither.

My ultimate goal is to travel. To do that I need some ER experience. (I have plenty as a Paramedic.) I was told by the AZ BON that I could work as a traveler on my Wisconsin license. So, I guess my question is- can I work a full-time position on my Wi license in Az and for how long? I will keep Wi as my primary residence.

sometimes with travel nursing you're able to extend your stay at a hospital. typically the assignment is for 13 weeks, but some stay on longer, afterwards. i know of a girl who lives in alabama, but works per diem in california at my hospital. she says she does that because the pay is better out here, but she doesn't want to move, and she just bunches most of her shifts together. you could also travel to difference hospitals in az if that's the state you're wanting to practice in right now.

I'm going to Arkansas to work and I'm from Tennessee (both are compact states.) I called the Tennessee Board of Nursing and was told that as long as I have my primary residence in Tennessee I can work in Arkansas indefinitely. If I ever change my address to Arkansas, I will have to have my license transferred.

I'm not sure if the move is permanent or not, but for now I'm keeping my property and address in Tennessee, so I don't have to worry about switching my license.

I am not sure if California recognizes Excelsior grads at this time. I know from past threads there was a problem with this. Checkout the Ca BON before looking here.
