Excelsior Cost and questions!

:welcome:Hi everyone,I have a few questions about Excelsior! I have been a LPN in state of Pa for almost 10 years! I would love to finish and get my RN. Right now Im in the stage to raise kids and be a mom and wife! Being a LPN where I am I have dayshift and seniority! But would love to retire from the state as a Rn.

Im very interested in Excelsior college,I have been out of the real world almost 7 years! All I do is pass medications to prisoners,so my nursing skills are somewhat defunct! I need to start taking my prerequisite classes! Now i need to pay a application fee,and then do I have to pay that $800 doolar yearly fee if Im not admmited to the nursing program?

I would love to hear ideas!

i applied and was accepted under the old program. i applied had my transcripts sent in to excelsior . with in the next 2 weeks i got a transcript evaluation and then had to enroll . when you enroll is the point when you pay the yearly fee . if you have a valid license or meet the other requirements they will admit you as a nursing student. good luck to you!!!
