I'm an LPN and I'm doing my bridge to RN program through College Network/Excelsior College. I'd like to get some insight from someone who has already been through the clinical weekend, on what it consists of and what to expect?

Takeshi, go to Distance Plearning and look for threads that say "CPNE" in the title. There's a wealth of information.
Thank you.

Search the net for CPNE workshops. When you get that close, take the workshops. Go to yahoo newsgroups and there are many, many groups for excelsior and cpne specific information. There are videos on youtube which explain some of it. Excelsiors CPNE study guide is .pdf and can be sent to you to start reading (since it's over 500 pages). Lots of info out there. You do not need anything but just take the tests (no other outside companies) and register for the CPNE. That's it.

Hello everyone. I am currently a LVN in California and really want to become a RN. I found Excelsior College that has a LVN to AND program but I guess Cali doesn't accept it due to the lack of clinical. I really want to do this online program and was wondering if anyone has done it out of Cali and was able to become licensed in Cali after working for some time as a RN or doing additional education to meet the board's requirements? I am totally willing to move out of state temporarily as long as I can come back to Cali. Thank you so much for your help!!! :wink2:
