Hello everyone,
Just a little bit of information about me. I am a biological science major, Bachelor's in biology to be exact. I have enough classes to have a minor in chemistry and a minor in psych but of course you can't have two minors. So anyways my issue is that i have a very very very low undergraduate gpa. basically the low 2's. YEH i know!!! I've been looking into some options. I see that LPN programs are very helpful. What i want to know is that how important or beneficial would it be for me to get an LPN cert and then apply to RN school? Also i also read online, that private ASN or BSN schools are a easy way in but expensive. Is this true? Im not worried about money. I just need to get in. I want to stay around Ga,SC,NC,KN,TN,FLA,ALA But I will consider anything. Does anyone know of any LPN/BSN/ASN school prefferably accelerated that don't have such a harsh GPA requirement. Private would be fine for me. I heard chamberlain is one of them. I just need something that doesn't have a harsh GPA requirement. Also Does anyone know of any LPN schools that don't have a harsh GPA requirement I am really worried as to what my next step would be. LPN, accelerated BSN, Doing pre-reqs over... etc...:bluecry1:anyone have any advice? I'm all ears. Thank You.

:)Your best bet is to sit down with someone from the college and discuss your situation. You could always call if it is a school out of state as well. The actual faculty will know more about their requirements. Each person has their own situation. They can evaluate yours best.
