Hello Fran. I just graduated from Everest university in Brandon fl and I can tell you that part time is not part of the 2 years you will spend at Everest. If you go, they will require you to have transportation because of clinicals. You will also be in class 3 to 5 days a week. If you are not ready to drop all of your friends for 2 solid years and disappear from everyone's lives you should rethink RN school. I never ever believed it would be so intense but I quickly learned and Everest is extremely tough. We lost people even in the 8th quarter. No one is ever safe, it takes total dedication.

Since Everest is a private for-profit institution that advertises heavily on daytime television, I'm assured that the tuition is staggeringly expensive.
Yes the tuition is staggeringly high!! I am an RN today and can pay that back and be just fine. If you let money frighten you, then so be it. I didnt and on the 9th I start my brand new career in the pcu in one hospital and PRN on a med-surg/ tele floor in another and have offers Of work and consulting from all over the place. At a minimum Everest university, Brandon FL is a great RN school. Will prep you for just about anything.
