Hello! So, I've been applying all over the place trying to get a pca or uncertified nursing assistant job for about a year now, with no luck. I finally found a nursing home in my are that is taking applications for a paid CNA training class! A friend told me about it, because she had just applied, so I applied right away. Now I am home and thinking about it, and I am assuming the class is Mon-Fri during the day for however many weeks the class takes... If that is so there's no way I'd be able to do it, because I got to school during the day 5 days a week.
Has anyone experienced, or heard of a LTC facility doing their CNA training during 2nd shift instead of 1st? Am I an idiot for even thinking this is a possibility? Of course, I will probably call and ask them tomorrow, but I was just wondering if any place actually does this.
