Ethics vs Bioethics

i am taking a course called "the sociology of health and illness". it is filled with bioethics and because i am a nurse is a great interest to me. what i have found in taking this course (i am a sociology major) is most people think like soc students where as i think like a nurse. been a soc student about 1.5 years and a nurse since birth. so my opinions come from the medical aspect rather than the soc stand point. thats the only difficult thing about this class for me...

i am using ec for the rn-bsn. i need the ethics credit..i have the books and a study guide...but i am finding it so dry and boring. i just cannot seem to get motivated to study it. unlike pathophysiology, which i just took, this stuff is new to me. i looked at the study guide for bioethics and it seemed to appeal to me much more than regular ethics. has anyone taken either/or? what is your opinion? the bioethics seemed much more geared to where my studies/knowledge/experience have been so far...and it is worth that needed ethics/humanities upper level credit! thanks for any feedback!
