Entering Graduate School, Advice Needed

Hi! I'm going to be starting graduate school in the fall to be Adult Nurse Practioner at Umass Boston, with aspirations towards earning my DNP. I am curious as to what to expect in graduate school? What are some helpful hints or advice you wish someone gave you sooner? I am eager to start, but anxious about the unknown! (Quick get the Ativan! LOL) I highly appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I began in Fall of 2008, part time...... hang in there.... and don't give up... it feels like each semester won't end...... but it does..... it is hard... be willing to sacrifice most things...... meaning fun things..... and family time...... i don't get to spend very much time with my family.. (husband, parent/brother).... but hopefully it will be worth it. I hopefully will graduate next May....... but hang in there... take it day by day..
